CREATE, INFLUENCE, REPEAT...
DANNY FROZE
Director | Writer | Producer | Podcaster
Born and raised in the heart of Chicago, I’m a storyteller who lives at the intersection of culture, creativity, and real-life experience. As a director, writer, and producer, I’ve built my career from the ground up — starting with viral YouTube series and evolving into a respected creative voice in independent film and digital media.
I co-host the INFLUENCERS podcast alongside my brother Naim Matthews, where we sit down with artists, entertainers, and innovators to explore the stories behind the spotlight. It's raw, unfiltered, and rooted in truth — much like the work I create.
Over the years, I’ve written and directed original series like Good in the Hood and Deadbeat, blending humor, grit, and heart with stories that reflect the voices often left out of the mainstream. My trailer for Jerome in the House caught fire online and even earned a co-sign from the legendary Martin Lawrence — a moment that reminded me how far consistency, vision, and authenticity can take you.
For me, storytelling isn’t just a job — it’s a form of therapy, a way to stay grounded, and a tool for building legacy. Whether I’m behind the mic or behind the camera, I’m committed to telling stories that matter — stories with depth, with soul, and with something to say.
